Traders' Library, A division of Expert Trading LTD., was Founded in 1991 and created as a book distribution company targeted to the full spectrum of the investment arena - from individual investors and financial advisors to professional traders. Placing an Order

How do I place an order?

If you already have a Traders' Library account:

  1. Log in to your online account.
  2. Browse through our store and select the titles you would like to order. Enter the title, author or topic you are looking for in the search box (or the item # if you have a catalog).
  3. After reviewing the item information, click the "Add to Cart" button to add the title to your shopping cart.
  4. Continue searching for more titles OR checkout – by clicking on the "Checkout" button from your shopping cart or the link on the left menu bar.
  5. Enter your information and click "Submit Order". Your order will be sent and processed within 24 hours of receipt at our warehouse.
  6. You will receive a confirmation email when your order has been received, provided your e-mail address is correct. When the order is shipped, you will also receive a second e-mail containing a tracking number that will allow you to track your shipment until it arrives, if applicable. (i.e. USPS and Airmail do not receive tracking numbers.)
  7. It is very important to supply a correct and active e-mail address and phone number. Failure to do so may delay fulfillment of your order if there is a problem.

Will I be paying Sales Tax?

When will I receive confirmation of my order?

If you entered an e-mail address when checking out – you will receive a confirmation via e-mail that your order has been received. When the order is shipped, you will receive another e-mail with a tracking number that will allow you to track your shipment until it arrives.

How do I create an account?

Click on the log in button on the top menu bar.   At the log in screen click on "Create a New Account" and enter your information.  The next time you visit Traders' Library all you have to do is click on the log in button, enter your e-mail address and password. Please keep your password safe and do not share it with anyone!

Why should I create an account?

There are many reasons to create an account, including:

  • You will never need to type in your billing and/or shipping address again! Make sure you have completed the on-line account forms and click "Update" when you are logged in.
  • You can create a wish list – similar to a bridal registry but for books.
  • Have you ever come across a book you thought you should purchase but didn't want to at that time, but when you  were ready to purchase you forgot the title? Now you don't have to worry – just add the book to your wish list and it will be there whenever you want to purchase it.
  • Your friends and family can buy you exactly what you want – by accessing your wish list.

What happens if my e-mail address or mailing address changes?

What do I do if I can't remember my password?

What is a wish list?

Have you ever come across a book you wanted but weren’t ready to purchase it at the time, and when you were ready to buy it you forgot the title?

Now you don't have to worry – just add the book to your wish list and it will be there whenever you want to purchase it. Much like a bridal registry, this feature allows you to keep a running list of items you would like to have. You don’t have to purchase any or all items on your list at any one time. Your list will be there every time you log in to our site. Plus, your friends and family can now buy you exactly what you want - simply by viewing your wish list!

How do I put an item on my wish list?

On the "More Info" page of the title – simply click on the button that says "Add to Wish List".  The item will automatically be added to your wish list if you are logged in. If you are not logged in, you will be prompted to log in.

How do I buy an item on my wish list?

You must have an on-line account setup and you must be logged in. Click on the link on the left menu bar that says "Wish List" and your complete wish list will be displayed.  You can then click on the "Add to Cart" button of any of the items you wish to purchase.

Can I send my wish list to friends and family?

We encourage you to send your wish list to friends and family – just follow these simple guidelines:

  1. You must have an on-line account setup and you must be logged in.

How do I search for titles?

In this box, you may search by Title, Author, Keywords, Item Number or ISBN number.

Do you have any tips for creating proper search phrases?

Yes – here are some guidelines you can use in your search:

  • Use the "Advanced Search" by clicking the link in the left menu bar.
  • Do not use conjunctions such as AND and OR. Use the drop down menus to narrow the search.
  • You don't need to type out a complete title. Try just two or three of the words in the title.
  • Search type - There are the two types:
    • All the Words: returns all items which contain the exact words entered . The words don't have to be together or in the same order to match. But they all must match.
    • Exact Phrase: returns all items which match the phrase exactly. The entire phrase and word order are matched.
  • You can speed up the search and narrow it at the same time by choosing a category from the drop-down menu for categories. This type of search will only return matches within a particular category.
  • The keyword search is slower than the other searches. It searches against the item number, the title, the author, the table of contents, the jacket description, and the synopsis. The other searches are much narrower and faster. But this search should yield the widest results.
  • When you do a search by item number, the search will also return any bundles which contain the item number. A bundle is a package of more than one item bundled together for one price.
  • Your search results can be sorted by title, author or price.

DVD Format

What are regional codes and do any of your DVDs contain one?

Some DVD discs contain Regional Codes which can be used to prevent the playback of certain discs depending upon the geographical area it is played in. However, ALL of our disks are without regional codes and will play on any player in any country.

Does your DVD contain any special features (authoring)?

No, our DVDs do not contain chapter stops that allow a "jump" to a particular part of the content. It is a purely a format option.

Will my disc work on my player?

The easy answer is that over 95% of the DVD players on the market today will play your DVD. First generation DVD players are defined as those introduced in 1997, the year DVD was introduced to the world. Many of the players that first hit the streets are not 100% compliant with the entire DVD specification. The number of these players that are incompatible is substantially higher than 5%.

What is a bonus code?

There is a section on the check out page which asks for a "Bonus Code". If you know your code, please enter it in the box when checking out and click the 'Activate' button. This will trigger the appropriate special offer in your shopping cart.

Where can I find my bonus code?

If your order qualifies for a bonus code, you will find it within the promotional material you've received. On a catalog, it will typically be on the back cover above your name and mailing address.

Can I enter an order without a bonus code?

Absolutely. If you do not have a bonus code, nothing needs to be added to this box and you can proceed normally through checkout to submit your order.

Why wasn't my bonus activated?

If you don't see the bonus reflected at checkout, please be sure that:
  1. The code is still active - once the promotional date has passed, the Bonus Code will no longer be valid.
